Dealer Sales Representative
Van Manen Petroleum Group, an established, successful, family owned distributor of petroleum products in Western Michigan is seeking a qualified Dealer Sales Representative. This full time salaried position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing and is responsible for: maintenance and growth of the retail dealer distribution channel (gas station / convenience stores) including both branded and unbranded operators, administration of brand programs, dealer contract administration, and communication of industry and distributor news to the dealer channel.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in marketing or equivalent experience and a minimum of five years history of developing leads, closing sales, and building and maintaining long term mutually beneficial relationships. Prior experience in petroleum distribution or the c-store industry is preferred.
